This EP is a preview of what is to come. Through the three years Machinegun Mojo has been an entity in the Chicago music scene, we have gone through many changes, possibly a three-year maturation period. We started the band in a cold, dingy garage in Lakeview on January 1st, 2009. We were fueled by alcohol and lingering angst. Our first effort, "Fundraising for the Devil" displayed that feeling and state of mind perfectly. However, people move on, people grow, and things change. We are proud of everything we have done in the past, but are ready to move forward. We have said good-bye to some great musicians, and even better friends. But the end product, this new line-up and sound is worth every fading memory. Machinegun Mojo is dedicated to making the best, most interesting, original, and satisfying music to come out of Chicago, and hopefully the United States. This new EP is merely just a taste of where we are headed. Thanks for sticking around, checking us out, and please stay tuned...
